I listen to this Dear CDs very often (I'm not alone with this I know) but my reason is very simple.
It makes me happy.
Of course not such kind of happiness when you want to run out to the street and embrace everyone you meet...Simple I need it as a medicine against all the shit surrounding. You know when something hurts me inside I can't become clear of it for long times,it makes me angry and sad and it's biting inside.
Music helps me through. When I listen to TG (or other emotional favourites,esp.Anathema) I can become empty and clear inside. Then I take my bass guitar or the acoustic and play with - or sometimes I just sit and let music fill me and wash all the dirt away.
Maybe I'm too melancholic but I need such clearences very often-in every two or three days. But I need it.
It's almost the only thing that makes me as happy as I imagine happiness myself...and I depend on these moments.
But it's better as be a junky I think...

i listen to TG when i feel like listening to them, it might be everyday or once a week

Very often, although not today. Souvenirs yesterday. When I first got SB I listened to it every day for probably 2 months. Definitely listen to all of them every month

I have both the albums and the mp3 of The Gathering, so I can listen to them in every occasion.

Usually twice a week I listen to them, sometimes more often...

I listen to The Gathering just about every morning on the 45 minute trek to school. I always listen to a soothing album like HTMAP or Sleepy Buildings in the morning, and then a heavier album in the afternoon when I am more awake.
