I don't even have all of their full length CD's. I need to get Always, Almost A Dance, I thought I had Superheat. I don't see it around. I have all the rest, no Downfall. I'm missing 4, then. I don't really want Almost A Dance, but I will probably buy it at some point.

I don't buy singles. I have EP BLD, OF COURSE!

My souvenirs is from Mexico? Scarecrow, with the extra songs.
I've never opened my If_Then_Else_ CD. Even though I listen to that every week.
I have the other live CD's, just not Superheat, yet.
I have the DVD's. In Motion, A Sound Relief, A Noise Severe.

Haven't gone hunting on ebay for a while... hoang's posts always reminds me to do so hahaha...

I would really love to see if anyone from the forum has a TG themed room or something, i have seen very nice decorations in Holland with stuff from the band, if you're not a TG fan you'd never notice it's there... anyone?

Thanks Faridee.

well, this is only a collection. of course i like it but there's no need to get these stuffs to be a fan.

To answer your question and to be honest, my home decoration is pretty ordinary and has no connection at all with music... It's like you would never guess i'm a music lover if you entered the place. ^

Not to bring the people that think they almost have a complete collection to despair or anything but I saw one item missing in the list; the official Foundation 2000 MC of "Always...". It looks something like this:

Image

Image

I believe it was mainly sold in Poland and I don't think many were sold either...

And while we're on the subject:
Quote:
Albums
Y An imaginary symphony MC NL 1990 Private demo TDK D60

The first few copies were on That's UX-46 tapes. We thought that was a good idea since the demo fitted the length of the cassette (2x23 mins) exactly. But the record store where we bought them couldn't get more, so we switched to the TDK's. If you have a copy of a That's issue then you're probably from Oss and most probably a (former) bandmember... :-)

Quote:
Y Moonlight archer (numbered; different coloured red-inlay exists) MC NL 1991 Private demo TDK D60, SA60 or AD60

Next to the standard red at least yellow copies exist. Hans made them for some of the "milestone" issues, if I remember correctly. My copy, number 250, is yellow...

Quote:
N No title; 6-track promo limited to 7 copies NL 1992 Private promo

The picture below is the "official" cover for the tape:

Hope this helps!

Bart

My copy of the Moonlight Archer demo-tape has number (2) written in the darkred inlay. Which bandmember is missing its copy :D

@hoang: You're welcome!

@faridee: Giving up already? And I haven't even mentioned the special "Always..." punchcard edition for barrel organs yet!

@zindroom: Well, since mine is number 250 I guess that should have been my copy. Expect a call from my lawyer soon... ;-)

I've got all the Anneke stuff with the exception of the singles, as well as some of her era vinyl, and the new album on two formats. The three DVDs along with that. I'm pretty much set, and even hoping to unload the new album on vinyl seeing as how I don't care for it too much.

Time will be my helper in that feat.

Some months ago, i bought some sleeves (many dozen) for my vinyls (LP, maxi) to protect both the (double) gatefold and the inner sleeve. These are physically stronger than regular and light plastic sleeves. They're also matt and not so translucid looking. I noticed some smell of "new" and convinced myself they were quality protections. 4-5 months later (one week ago) one of my mates who is a bigger collector warned me to threw them in the garbage. This smell I noticed was actually an harmful gas able to deteriorate the vinyl surfaces. Physically the deterioration appears visually as a light white stain which tends to spread through time on the vinyl surface...My mate who collects stuffs some treasures for 20 years got many of his LPs dead because of these particular sleeves (they're also kinda blue grey coloured in comparison with the regular transparent white light one which don't stink are not nocive ). As maniac collector, he used to get the vinyl out of the gatefold not to fragilize the artwork ( the old collector will know what i mean) but the gas still deteriorate each way it find an exit (watch out so for HTMAP? original inner sleeve). As an hygienist myself, i'd like to identify this gas.
If you listen to these LPs after the stains did apprear and as a consequence, the sound is scrachy and the quality is collapsed. Whiter and bigger is the stain, badder is the listening. Your vinyl is lemon then. and thats sad for the listener. According to my friend, one year is enough to deteriorate your stuffs. so i just wanted to warn you, the vinyl listeners. Cause the materialistic collector won't pay attention to this detail, except he thinks about selling his stuffs one day.

Fortunately, I looked at my stuffs, piece by piece and they are safe. Then I chose some regular plastic sleeve without smell

Wow thanks for the tip! I never got to buy smelly sleeves so I should be on the safe side! I usually try to get the rpotective sleeve from the shop when I buy LPs... but sometimes they refuses so I have those with q quite rigid border (where each side of the sleeve is actually glue together by melting both sides)

those are exactly the sleeves that hoang talked about! pvc sleeves are the cancer for records! 8)
try to get polyethylene ones, they are easily findable online. I purchased them at protected.de
