Not sure if this has been done before in the past so my apologies if it has been. Here's my question: What bands do you recommend people listen to? :D

Well, I also listen to Theatre of Tragedy, Leaves´Eyes, Depeche Mode, Wolfsheim, Nightwish, Björk, Moloko, Portishead, ... There are a lot of bands to be mentioned but it always depends on my mood to which band I listen. So these are my "most listened to".

He would surely recommend to listen to the godess Avril Lavigne, Wu Tang Clan gangstas and master Keiichi Suzuki... or perhaps to make your own musical taste Image

No, no. I'm sorry if I didn't make this thread clear. You're supposed to post a question for HANS. Not answer my question!

Yeah, I just popped in my old VHS of "Toward the within" after I heard about the reunion tour :D I saw Mogwai once live and it was a really incredible experience. Do you recommend a certain album from them? I've only heard stuff that my friends let me listen to but I never remember the album title. I love Godspeed......don't some of the members have another band called Silver Mt. Zion or something like that? I'm curious to hear that (maybe someone in the forum has heard it?) What is Archive Hans? I always love finding out about new music :green:

For those of you who are curious about Mogwai: On November 23, 2004, there'll be a radio broadcast of their gig at the Southside Festival (27/06/04).

A Silver mount zion (or whatever they call themselves, they change the bandname with each release) is the chamber music equivalent of GY!BE. The focus lies more on the violins, piano and vocals, especially on "This is our punk rock". Excellent stuff. 8)

Another collective with GY!BE members, and with the most similarities to the main band, is Set fire to flames. Check out Sings reign rebuilder, it is gorgious.

Thanks to the people that supplied to Mogwai/silver mt. zion info. :D Ok, I'm going to ask another question and hopefully it will be answered because I've asked it before elsewhere with no reply: Will the songs the Gathering did for the movie "The Quiet one" ever be released? What about the movie itself?

Thank you Hans! I checked the website but I couldn't find where it states the DVD release. Hopefully it will be released in the United States. :D
