Hi, do you know when "The Musical History Tour" will be available via http://www.bol.com? (BOL might offer alternative methods of payment for those of us who don't live in the Netherlands: e.g. transfer checks or cash on delivery.)
I've tried the German version of the site (http://www.bol.de) and there was no hint of the new album.

Will this TG side project ever be available in record shops or is its distribution limited to 4tune and some internet shops?

Ordered the CD from 4tune along with a few other TG items.

Just hoping I'll have better luck this time with 4tune. They sent me the wrong CD when I ordered the Telefunk tribute CD a few months ago, and never replied to any emails trying to get the situation corrected :(

Anyway, been waiting it seems for a very long time for this project to be released, so I'm very anxious to hear it :) Does anyone have the full tracklisting of the CD??

here's the track-list:

01. Dear Hunter
02. The Philosopher And The Soldier
03. Every Day Is Like A Thousand Years
04. Mediaeval City
05. New Horizon
06. Golden Age
07. Talking About The Revolution
08. Lost In Munch's Scream
09. Thunder Without Frequencies (Song For Gertrud)
10. Coldwar Kid
11 Anachrome Circles

The last two tracks are great...very "trippy" and "dancy"

Thank you Kevin....and Mariska as well for the info. Sounds very interesting from your descriptions. I'm pretty sure I will love it. Hope my CD arrives soon.

The title "New Horizon" sounds familiar....is this the same new song TG played live at one or two gigs last year??
I believe "La Lutine" was the other new track performed at that time also.

I dont think La Lutine is a very old song.. I didnt get the chance to hear it live last year, but I dont think it's very old.

@Burn: Well, in fact I have that song. I'd share it with you if there wasn't the copyright issue. ;-) Just compare the "Zion" thread...

:o

There's ANOTHER live rarity besides ZION?!?!?!

I thought the band allowed the distribution of bootlegs... :-| they wouldn't mind, would they? Hans?

BTW I got the Musical History Tour... like it quite a bit... I mean it's not anywhere near the rest of TG's stuff ;) my favorite songs are Every day is like a thousand years and Anachrone circles...

La Lutine was played 2 times last october shows and the band decided the song was not good enough in the state it was when they played it.
The band tolerates the bootlegs but don't support them either... And they mentionned several time spreading a boot with unreleased song could harm the band.. especially cause at the time Zion wsa played, they didnt know if they would succeed to get rid of Century Media.. and Century could have got their hand on the song and copyright it for themsevles, obliging the band to or record it for them, or abandon the songs...

nah but I know them by heart :green: I once had recorded a gig in the NL where they played new songs... but to make sure this would never get out of hand, I never shared it and even deleted the new songs out of this recording... I remembered some people were pissed by that at the time cause they would have really liked to get those songs...
Since then, I realised most people don't get that by sharing things they can harm a band professionnally speaking... Pity :-|

Ooooh I didn't understand about the copyright issue with the unrecorded songs. That makes sense ;) I wasn't being critical, just desperate. :P But of course I wouldn't want to hurt the band.
