ok some question from me too :P

1) what happened to the gathering book? last time I've heard steven (almost 3/4 years ago) he just finished the nighttime birds chapter. did you have read some of the already written stuff? will it ever be published?

2) the artworks of always... and almost a dance featured a picture of a woman just like first 2 releases of the other doom/death outsiders anathema (crestfallen+serenades) and my dying bride (symphonaire..+as the flowers...) come out at the same time of the gathering.
is that thing intentional or totally random? is there a meaning behind the woman figure?

3) still on always... and almost a dance artworks: the picture of the always... cover isn't credited, where did you get it? who is the woman?
the almost a dance credits says "cover by the gathering", did you took the picture personally? is the girl one of your friends?

hope hans will not go mad answering :green:

No, I don't think so. Right now we are trying to do our best to write songs with massive, distorted guitars. We had our portion of semi acoustic.

That, Hans, sounds just great! :green: Let's rock 'n roll!!:green: :green: Let's do some stage diving :green: :green: :green:

Hi Pier, no I don't mind! :)

1) The book is still there, Steven and I have to come together and see what is the next step. It has no deadline, that's why it goes quite slowly.

2) No big meaning behind it. Just a reaction towards all the bloody skull covers I guess. Nature and beauty as a reaction.

3) The girl is a photomodel, the band never saw her in real life. The pic is taken by Jack Tillmans. We had some problems with the record company back then (Foundation 2000, that is), and the idea was to make a picture to voice our thoughts. We came up with a girl (we) who throw away a pieve of paper in the form of a paper airoplane, into a muddy pool. We are full of hidden messages ;)

Sorry, but question not about the past:
Tell me, please, do you still cooperate with Irond corp. and if you do - can we expect release of Russian DVD edition?

If it's ok, I have a question about the future. I don't suppose there's any chance of the band making their way to Australia next year or any time in the future? ;)

If not, I guess I'll have to pack my bags for The Netherlands ;)

The cover of always is taken form an airline company calendar.. can't remember which one though...
You'll find the total answer on the journal section of the website ;)

Haha, the funny thing is that us Aussies don't actually drink Fosters! :P Fosters seemed to go out of favour in Australia a good 10 years or so ago, heck, I can't even remember the last time I saw a can of Fosters in real life ;) I think we must export all of the stuff nowadays!

But hey, if any TG fans happen to find themselves in Western Australia, I'd be happy to treat you to a beer or two ;) Since you guys have all been so welcoming on this forum it's the least I could do ;)

Eyyy, Sweden is actually on my list of countries to visit, so if I should ever find myself in the neighbourhood, perhaps catching some Melodic Death Metal, I'll be sure to hold you to that ;)
