Bah, I'm currently the top bidder for the Chet Atkins and am willing to go up to around $900 Australian if that's what it takes to score it :P Sure, I may have to go hungry for a week or two, but it was used in the recording of How to Measure a Planet?, so it'd be worth every penny ;)

Just gotta hope no one else is willing to spend as much ;)

Haha, you're right though, probably not a good move announcing how much I'm willing to pay :P

I won the Chet Atkins.
Someone on ebay samueldemoulin from Belgium won the black Gibson. With an exchange rate of 1 Euro = 1.6 Canadian $ that one was just too much for me. I think it is totally worth it, don't regret it for a second. However, I really play drums - hmm wonder if Hans has a kit he'd like to sell? haha.

Hans Sonor drumkit [that was use for mandylion recording and some gigs] was sold a few years ago before he got the DW kit ;)

I won the black Gibson! Now I can say it, I was willing to put around 2500 € for this one... For a collector like me, it's really worth the price... And be assured that it will not only stand behind a glass, I'll play with it (not too much though), and really TAKE CARE of it!!! :D

Congratulations! I wasn’t willing to go that high. This is a price
of a small car! Good for you! :)
