OK... this one is from In Motion #2:
"And again the rain falls down"

I heard:
"And the gathering falls down"

Ah yes, I mistook "laws of the living" for "Lord of the Rings". I thought it's probably Tolkien speaking.
I was surprised to learn that although I heard the phrase incorrectly, it IS Tolkien.

Another one, from Great Ocean Road:
"This beautiful city, that surrenders to the nightfall, carving the grounds we walk upon"
I heard:
"This beautiful sea, that surrounds us through the nightfall, carving the grounds we walk upon"

Better, don't you think? More fitting to the title.

Maybe the lyrics are meant to be misheard :D
So we can all change them inside our twisted little minds :D

I still hear it that way!

Anyway, from You Learn About It: "you harvest (untill you can make no more)/All that's eating inside "
I was hearing "All tears turning inside" It still sounds better to me :D

"Nothing that happens to man is ever natural, since his whole pressence scorns the whole world into question. All men must die, but for every man his death is an accident, and even if he knows it, and sense to it, an unjustible violation, wether he may agree with it or not, and those are the keysprings of Lord of the Rings"

Somthing like that is the words of Tolkien at "Sand and Mercury"

For me it always seems like he says "Lords of the Ring" instead of "Lord of the Rings". :D

There seems to be quite a large number of different interpretations of that line...

my personal interpretation is:

"There is no such thing as a natural death, nothing that happens to man is every natural, since his presence calls the whole world into question. All men must die and for every man who's death is an accident, even if he knows it and consents to it, an unjustifiable violation, Well, you may agree with the words or not, but those are the..are the keystring of the laws of the living."

Although i'm not 100% sure on my transcription, I am positive that it is keystring, not keyspring in the last section of the quote.
