Burn: I didn't mean any offense either. Maybe we both misunderstood each other. It's OK if you're totally against downloading unreleased stuff. It's your oppinion and, although I might not share it, I respect it.
Again don't misunderstand my words, I had no way of knowin what trhe owrd "fan" implied for you. For me being a "true" fan doesn't have any negative implications, it doesn't have anything to do with being a fanatic. I feel I am a fan myself, as for me a TG "true fan" is someone who feels TG music and feels "touched inside" by their songs.
By the way I didn't mean to be hostile to you at any time. If you ever come around Barcelona, I'll invite you to a beer

Actually I think that if one has seen more than a dozen times a band playing live, he can be considered a fan (even a fanatic), not a simple "listener"..

(I consider myself one of them, and I see nothing wrong in it...)

As for the "impatience" problem; well Burn, maybe you aren't that impatient 'cause you've had the chance to see the 2 concerts in August, and you already have an idea of what the songs sound like.. Not everyone had this chance, so try to understand our deprecable impatience

I do understand the impatience... I just find it a pity that when you wait 6 months or 6 months and 2 weeks... that doesn't make a big deal...
And if I say that it's only because I don't like reading tons of comments about an album before its release...
It did the same with Souvenirs... and thus I had the promo, I didn't like reading comments about Jelena or A Life... While the album was not yet in the shops...

well,for some ppl even 1day can make a difference-here for example,thngs for bands that aren't that popular like iron maiden is,are moving very very slow and hard-many times i had to order tg stuff from abroad cause i couldn't find anything here-plus the only way i am able know their news is this site and forum-and when the official release date for sleepy..is 26january,that means that here in thessaloniki its gonna be at stores maybe 2or more,weeks later-so i think its no harm hearing comments cause in the end each and everyone will have his/her own opinion...!

That's 100% true.
I told that once.
And they wanted to straighten their relation with CM again.
Splitting without bad feelings or something with that same meaning ( and with being paid royalties again, also from the older albums, which had stopped due to their dispute )

This is what Anneke explains about it.

"It is really a selection of the songs which appeared at our old record company. We used only the songs, which ran over Century Media. Otherwise there would be additionally still problems concerning the royalties. We locked this chapter thus hereby. Although the life already continued with two plates on our own label. The only reason for it was that the treaty negotiations lasted so for a long time, we however wanted to continue. So it's a bit more complicated with the new albums."

"We had to release still another last album for our old record company. The first idea was to release a 'Best of..'. That was somewhat too boring for us. Because there would be only old pieces on the new cd. Easy but not very exciting.Thus we thought: perhaps we can make something special of it. And play the old songs in a new way. They wanted to have a look first. A pure acoustic album appeared to us a too quiet, and the idea of a semi-acoustic performance attracted us. It can both very intensively, and become very calm and I believe keep the listener gripping."

I bought it yesterday, and since its reached Finland I guess it should be everywhere else too

And yes, it rocks. I don't even try to understand how Anneke can sound so beautiful and perfect in a live recording.
