i'm curious about why the cd is released via cm. was this the last output to get out of the contract or just because they have the rights of a couple of songs?

I can't say for sure but I think it's due to the contract... I had read somewhere that the band had signed for 5 albums... So it would mean one after ITE [Superheat doesn't count as it's not new material]...

And because the band decided to release Souvenirs and BLD on their own, it might be an agreement to finish the contract without going to court...

On the other hand, it's true CM has the publishing rights of most of the songs played on Sleepy Buildings...

I do want to have everything of them but,as i said in another topic,if the band thinks that the dvd isn't an official release and it sucks(which does),maybe it would be nice if they release a new official one,with lots of stuff and everything a die-hard fan would want,like BLD single.surely they have the material..

They have three videos live on MONSTERS EP! I'm wondering what will happen to the rest of the songs of this concert!! .. maybe they'll release it on a new DVD or something ?

no, they recorded only a couple of songs - but i remember just monsters and bld - at the nuernberg-show.

On Monsters EP only the video of Monster in Nurnberg is pro like.. You couldn't make a complete homevideo with the quality of Hamburg's shots... that would be too boring...

4Tune shop sells the Monsters EP and delivers it in whole Europe. If you wait and combine the order of this EP with the live cd (next month) then you'll have to pay shipping costs only once.

The dvd is bad and unauthorized, but since it is the only tg-dvd available, I simply had to buy it. After all, it's better than nothing - especially as I have never seen the band live and unfortunately don't seem to get the oppurtunity since they're not coming to Finland... Hopefully they will release their own dvd some day, including all the previous video bonuses from the singles and better live material.

The tracks on Monsters are surely better recorded & shot than the CM dvd, but they are far from dvd quality...

Well if CM did money with the poor DVD, they are going to make more with sleepy buildings.

I dont see bad to download the album, as long as u go and buy the original, is something sort or like emulation on video games.

This is quite true but for those who don't have high speed connexion it's frustrating to read all kind of comment about an album that is still unreleased...
