I can't rank their albums. I don't like the first two at all. Everything else has great music in it, some more than others, but they are all great or brilliant albums, including Home.

A very tough call indeed and all the G-releases are essential, of course, but here goes.

1. How To Measure A Planet?
2. Mandylion

Two undisputed classics, even though the first has a few weaker songs and isn´t the most consistent album and the second is a bit difficult to place in a ranking as it was the first and therefore most ´WTF, this rules´-album.

3. Souvenirs
4. Black Light District

Two albums with a very unnerving atmosphere. ´Souvenirs´ is an amazing album (I predict it will be one of their most underrated in times to come), ´Golden Grounds´ is a near-perfect track and Mister G´s appearance and duet with Anneke is amazing. ´Black Light District´ is worth the fourth slot for the title track alone.

5. If_Then_Else
6. Sleepy Buildings

I like these albums because they show the G´s potential in fulfilling the dreamy rock-type album promised by the ´Kevin´s Telescope´-covers. In a certain sense, ´Home´ combines that dreamy rock-element with the triphop-dimension of ´Souvenirs´, so it looks set to take the third place in the coming months.

7. Nighttime Birds

The weakest the G-album. It has some nice tunes and ideas, there´s no denying that, but it still feels like Mandylion 1.2.

8. Superheat

A superb live album, of course, but studio releases rule. The live-experience should be experienced, well, live.

Not easy to rank albums that are so different and that you enjoy for different reason. Anyway, the subpoints in my list usually change depending on this week's mood.

No particular order for me, but Home is WAY down the bottom, and hopefully always will be.
