I haven't checked the other winners but the winning clip (right on the home page) is awesome! I liked the rhythm matching the track where it should, I also ike the applied video filters! Excellent work!! :flower:

It's accurate, and the frames sometimes look like real paintings! :flower:

dont forget to give a chance to the 2 other videos ;)
The 2nd one was/is used as live projection and it fits perfectly for this purpose in my opinion!
(if the band had to play with the 1st video they would need to play very tight to keep the good editing/soundtrack effects)

Having watched all three winning clips, I came to the same conclusion. Pity that at least the Greek leg of the tour did not include video art.

To be honest: I don't like the Alone video. Imagine: the average MTV watcher sees this video....I don't think he or she'll gets excited. So that won't make it a great promotion! That will only make TG fans watching the video and that's not exactly what it should be used for... I think a promo video including an on stage act by the band (or whatsoever) will support the album and the song alot better!

I agree with you Shrink. Also I think, but that's my opinion, Nicolas Prost' video, who won the second price in this contest, is much better, even a bit psychedelic, and that'll fit the song better.

Well, TG has a tendency to go for the "high-art" concept-type videos it seems, like the one for "Monsters" and now "Alone", and I have to side with those that are a bit put off by the direction...but that's only my opinion, of course.

I know that's not easy to make a videoclip, I will never be albe to make something like that.
But these videos are too difficult to me, perhaps I haven't got that necessary artistic feeling, so I also don't think they could be broadcast in TV, but I agree that it's possible to use them for live projection...
For TV I would prefer live Alone from A Sound Relief...
