it would be just perfect if they play something like the cure did with Trilogy, The Gathering could play Mandylion, Nighttime Birds and if_then_esle; the complete set...
let's keep crossing our fingers!:D :D

anyway, i hope they play third chance!

cheers.

I would like the setlist to comprise of most of the home album, then souveniers, then continue reversing through time...

The reason is... older albums are great and are great to listen... But newest albums really shine when performed live. They are good studio albums, but when I listen to live performances of songs from i.e. home or souveniers, only then does this... magic, which is somehow hidden or diluted in the studio versions, come together and hits with full force. :)

So... I like all the songs, but old songs I like the studio and live versions equally, whereas the new songs I like best when live and kicking. ;)

The setlist is supposed to be heavier songs. I hope they stick with that plan.

It's entirely possible that they record "heavier" versions of newer songs, opposite of what they did with Sleepy buildings. All the new songs I heard live or on bootlegs sounded more powerfull than on the albums...

I vote for something new, regardless if it's old songs played in a new way, or new songs played in a new way. ;-)

Say what?! Golden Grounds perhaps, but The Big Sleep is a favourite of mine (I can really relate to it), and Marooned is good too. They were on "A Sound Relief" because they are softer, gentler tracks.

I'm guess that "A Noise Severe" is going to be mainly Mandylion, Nighttime Birds and Home; which ties old and new together nicely.
