3000 euros for the air ticket to Chile.... :o :o :o

I hope they will perform their songs with even more energy than they had in the greek concerts....

Stonegarden deserves to be on the setlist and songs as On Most Surfaces...let's see!

I dont know yet...the only reason to come is the video I saw in Paradiso with all the crazy fans in Chile and the chaos/party atmosphere in the venue! Then I saw the DVD of their concert and I was a bit shocked...

It would be nice if I has scheduled this months before...but I was informed by Anneke about their final choice to record it there...I am planning to change job also and many things are really getting weird with this dream!Because it is a dream to travel so far and attend a special concert along with crazy people...a moment that remains forever!

Let's see...960 euros with Air France so far!

I have done silly shits myself on behalf the music, and my favs bands, ended empty pocket-ed :green: but one thing I can tell you, every time I did, it worth every penny spent.
Even though I haven't spent such a crazy amount.

I understand you might be chewing your fingernails trying to decide.
may the wisdom be with u

I think they'll record a setlist similar to the tour...that would be most logical to me. In that case, I have a good idea what they'll play. But you can keep hoping for some neat bonus material...

If it was up to me...

-Eléanor
-Shortest Day
-On Most Surfaces
-Analog Park
-In Motion #1
-Kevin's Telescope
-King For A Day
-Probably Built In The Fifties
-Debris
-Box
-Broken Glass
-Monsters
-Waking Hour
-On A Wave
-Shot To Pieces

Encore:
-Adrenaline
-Stonegarden
-Strange Machines

Unfortunately I am not able to come because I am going to change company I work for...so I wont be able to have days off to come!I was just in the beginning to pay for the Air France ticket...

I have a 30% increase on my salary and I would afford to pay even my girlfriend's air ticket...but the timing is against me... :-?

The feeling being among people who love the music you love is incredible and of course every cent is worth it!I have done it twice and it was a great opportunity for having a trip abroad...it is not only the concert but all that surrounds it, dont you think? :D

everything from Mandylion of course (including adrenaline)... most of NtB, something from HtMaP and ITE... maybe some surprise with songs from Always with original arrangements and anneke in vocals (second sunrise would be great  .. if they did it with stonegarden and anneke (metal style), why not with this amazing song)...

and an important thing... absolutely nothing from those bored and tedious albums (souvenirs and home of course)... and bld .... please noooo!!!

that's it...

Thank you guys!:)

Well it would be great to be for once around you all crazy fans from Chile...the bootlegs I have from there shocked me and the atmosphere will be really great!

Well the circumstances now are bad....let's see what will the band do for their 20 years of existence! I think a best of album and a concert would be great dont you think? :D

1000 euros for an air ticket is too much...but I would spent it if I was able to come! :D

On A Wave? :o :o :o :o

that's very exciting to know this gig will take place in Chile.
on the other hand, i'm quite sceptic about the atmosphere it can drive to (especially in the dvd). Chilean can scream so loud in gigs that you cannot focus on and enjoy the music seriously. i hope they wouldn't scream at least during quiet songs parts... for example, i hate when people talk or scream during slow moments of Black Light District... this is ridiculous, a lack of respect, and as a result, this may break the music surrounding. well, i hope they'll consider these details for the dvd mixing.

Maybe you guys could hitch a boat ride to Chile. I'm actualy thinking of it. Like in the old times, you go in a port and ask around , adn you clean the deck if they take you

So far i'm sure the band knows pretty well that we the chilean apes do not know how to behave in concerts. We live the gigs in total madness, excitement and passion. And the band loves that in us.
Unfortunately i still hate that mijita rica sort of chanting we do to praise Anneke's beauty. LOL Anyway i'll be hoping everything turns out all right with the dvd recordings.

From the moment they decided to record it to Chile then they DO really want all this madness!:)

At least all this atmosphere will turn into the perfect propaganda to what The Gathering is now...

Will The Gathering be the first band ever recording in Chile? :green: If so then they will do something really memorable!

ok ok, no problem guys.

i'm not against chilean madness cause i guess it will stimulate the band on stage as it can be... maybe even more.

but personally, i'd rather listen to a "noise severe" music than a "noise severe" crowd. i hope this point of view fits the "noise severe dvd" concept too.

I think this is a mixing problem...and can be solved very easy by turning the volume down from the audience! :D

These people are REALLY mad for The Gathering and we all have to sallute that! :green:
