Just signed up to complement you guys and girls on a great gig (in Uden), when i found this news.

But will the CD also include 'The illusionist'? And can you give the demo's a proper remaster ? (Bring back the 'Downfall' drumintro and the first few bars of 'In sickness & Health').

Maybe you can also include 'Organorama' ? :D

From gathering.nl:

The different versions of Downfall - The Early Years:

1CD version released on Hammerheart Records in 2001 [CD]
2CD limited edition released on Hammerheart Records in 2001 [a gig of 1991 is on the bonus CD]

I bought the 2CD version four years ago for 9 euros.
The only "Downfall" CD I've seen has dark green artwork.

Same first disc with an extra content CD I think...
I dont know yet... we'll see. this re-release in not in shops yet

As it seems to me... The Angel might be Annie overshadowing upon the old demo releases. (the early years of the Gathering)

"This release, The Downfall double cd is a collection of the early days of The Gathering. This means the era with Bart Smits on vocals (1989 – 1993). what i understand in this Vic Records message is that they will release a double CD and a dvd. (so, three discs) or i may be wrong...
