Hey i'm a new fan to the forums, but i'm an old Gathering fan (since 2000 anyway!)
The "A Sound Relief" D.V.D by The Gathering is my most valued piece of D.V.D treasure. With news that the band may release a second D.V.D called "A Noise Severe" featuring more heavier material, I was wondering what set list YOU would love to hear (keeping in mind you can't repeat what was on "A Sound Relief")
This would be mine:

Rollercoaster
Saturnine
Shortest Day
These Good People
A Noise Severe
On Most Surfaces
Night-time Birds
When the sun hits (Slowdive cover) !!
In Motion #1
Stonegarden (similar to the Sleepy Buildings version)
Fear The Sea
Mandylion

hmm, you can add some songs - your list is too short for a normal concert / dvd! (you need about 1:45)

Have fun...

A Sound Relief D.V.D had only 14 songs, so maybe I could add two more...

I'm just really amped to see this new D.V.D and can't wait for the band to release it. To see the song Saturnine done live like on Sleepy Buildings would blow me away.

Yes but the concert in PAradiso had more songs than that and if the band was satisfied with them the duration would probably be longer....

good old "adrenaline" !
yess, if they sometimes get sick of playing "strange machines" again,
playing that would be incredible - a perfect last encore!

Travel's already been played on A Sound Relief! I meant new songs that show the "harder" side of the band. That was the meaning behind the two names of the d.v.d's, soft and heavy.

Anyway, i like the look of these lists, and a big cheer to the person who put In Power We Trust the love advocated on their list!!

Sounds like a great list indeed :green:
But miss "These good people" and "a life all mine"

Black Light District = 2 or 3 songs better than BLD  (like New Moon Different Day... Kevin`s Telescope)

I think the setlist will be close to the one they played in the FabChannel concert, but I'm making my guess anyway only with heavier songs:

- Strange machines
- Eléanor
- On most surfaces
- Saturnine
- Shortest Day
- In between
- A noise severe
- Monsters
- Even the spirits are afraid
- Probably built in the fifties
- Liberty Bell

I'm not sure about the rest, but I think they will play these for sure imo.
It would be very good to hear Kevin's Telescope, Third chance, Debris, Adrenaline, Analog Park, Rollercoaster or Shot to pieces, but I'm not quite sure they will play them (they don't usually do). BLD could be a great choice but it's too long so I don't think they will perform it although it will be the greatest ending for a recorded show ever :D

in my opinion Black Light District should be there, it's really strong song and it's incredible experience to see it live (I'm glad that I had that chance :) but I wish I could see bld oncemore), however I realize it's probably a bit long for dvd...

And my other wishs:

Illuminating
and Probably Built In The Fifties

Who knows, it will be surprise :)

I think that the harder side means the way that the band will play. Not semi-acoustic, but normal

New Moon Differente Day would be the most amazing and wonderful surprise on this DVD, I really love this song! :D

I could cry if they play it!!!

Analog Park would be great to hear in a live setting.
I still think they payed too much attention on How To Measure a Planet and Souvenirs on "A Sound Relief"
I mean, The Big Sleep, Golden Grounds, Marooned are not top quality TG material!!
