The Gathering

Well, something that happened to me today...
My city is fortunate enough to have a major Hollywood outsourcing industry... i.e. They shoot movies in Canada and pretend it's the U.S. because cities often look the same. Just some background about Toronto...

So I was walking out of class at university, and ran into a bunch of movie set caravans parked along the sides of one of the more scenic buildings. I passed by them, until I saw a sign that said "the gathering - SET" with an arrow pointing into the building. At which point I obviously had to ask what this was all about.

The shooting day had just ended, so I came up to the set people standing there and asked them... The guy said that it's a movie about some teenage witches, and also that it doesn't have anyone famous in it. Ah, the disappointment. You can always hope for some stardust.

Just thought I'd share this story with you... imdb.com doesn't have any info on it yet, but apparently there are *tons* of "The Gathering" movies out there.

shit, i saw that too when i was wandering downtown!! it got me excited until i came back down to reality. but i was confused because i've never come across any movies while google-ing the gathering. do u go to UofT?
