The Gathering

I very fondly remember buying the US edition of this album on the cold winter's day that it came out, back in January of 1999, over here on my side of the pond...
I actually drove through a snowstorm to 3 different stores that night, just to get it

But I recall that it came out for the European folks a couple months earlier, which now makes this just about 10 years ago since it's original release (damn!)

So...
Will Century Media be following suit as they did with the 10th anniversary of Mandylion and Nighttime Birds, and give this one a ridiculous re-release?
I suspect though that CM won't have anything more to offer other than what was already released a few years back in the Accessories double album... as far as bonus material stuff goes, I mean.

Well, I'm curious to see what will happen

I think and hope this re-release will be a chance for some fans to listen to the 4 roughmixed versions tracks, such as "The Rescue" "Liberty Bell (sitting on a chair), "Great Ocean Road" and "Marooned". These were only and officially available on promotionnal stuffs.

even though I would like to see a re-release, simply because the current version is out of stock at CM, I still have a part of me that thinks CM might not rerelease that album and the ones after simply because mayn there though TG was Mandylion/Nighttime Birds and that it stopped there...
But please make me wrong on that one

Well... as hoang said.. i would love to listen to those tracks since i dont have any of the htmap promos, it would be cool (just in one hand), but knowing how CM works, they're probably waiting for TG to release the new album and then release the 10th anniversary htmap to screw with the band (its kind of their way of making bussiness).

I'd eagerly buy both of them, htmap is one of my fav TG albums.
