well I guess it comes from:
- promoters still consider TG as heavy (and they do have some followers amongst metalhead)
- TG couldn't seriously refuse to play such a big festival, they will reach some fans, could always get new ones, and should bring them some cash flow...

I agree! It's certainly weird to see TG in a festival in which Slipknot, Papa Roach, Disturbed and Trivium (to name a few) will play, but it's great promotion for the band! Every band needs the €€€ anyhow, so it's good IMO.

Why is it weird??? It's 10 years already that that kind of stuff happens...
I found it weirder to see TG in the middle of Burg Herzberg festival in 2006 (with the beautiful motto "back to the land form milk & honey" :) ). It was a hippie festival! It was actually a super nice fest, and very nice to be there, but that was weird! ;)

Think it's good and not weird at all.
There are some softer bands playing in these fests all the time.
Last summer Porcupine Tree were playing everything. And they were NEVER heavy

yes, it is obvious this festival is very positive.

I'm pleased.

Well for me it seems weird, but I'm not complaining :p . There has never been a festival of that sort here in CR, so well I had no idea that things have been like that for so long hehe.

:green: great video! Seems like a great festival too, I'd go there actually. My grandfather and mother and my father were all kind of hippies (mostly the first two), so it's in the blood  .

Yes, a great video - and hasn't so much changed since 2006. What a shame, really.

What you have there is a perfect convergence between a great performance, a great singer and even a D. A. Pennebaker Woodstock-style split-screen video! Yes, it's all good hippie stuff. I should know, because I was a hippie back in those days - and now, beneath my middle-aged persona. And in that sense, TG with Anneke may have missed a big connection. At least they got to play at Glastonbury.

So, there's a vinyl version too! :D Horrrraaaaaahhhhhh!!!

For some reason I wasn't expecting that type of format with this release, this is excellent!

Mr.Burn, any clues or hunches of how much it may cost?

I've ordered it. I can't wait for it to arrive! I'm not downloading anything beforehand. I will experience this record on my turntable with the lyrics in hand!

Wonderful day!

the sticker thingie pissed me off badly. I mean every label (small or big) if there is a print mistake asks to the pressing plant new covers with no errors! I wouldn't give a flying f*ck waiting another month or something to get my vinyl :(
