More and more I buy my music in digital format.

Does TG plan to sell digital version of the album? Obviously the T-shirt would be nice too, but that's not possible. :D

But a nice package with a .jpg cover, a PDF for the liner notes would see like HOT CAKES! (No shipping cost as well!)

If anybody wants to add DRM or restrictions, just think that you already ship everything without restrictions as soon as the first CD is out of the store. Providing an official digital download allows a method for people (like myself!) who want the files and are ready to pay for them!

Well most if maybe all relases are available via the itunes store... For now I didnt dig much into downloads for the webshop.. but that's a possibility I want to develop this year if the security part isnt an issue, if the band finds it interesting.

That is when they are available worldwide... I can't buy the last Anneke album on iTunes in Canada yet; it is not out (or it is DRM protected, and I refuse to buy songs with less freedom than a CD). In short, a digital download offering immediately provides worldwide distribution and small cost.

Some music publishers that does that (that I've bought from):
Tacca Musique
Audiogram

Good luck for this project! (Let me know if you need beta-buyers!)

PS: Audiogram also has the artist on iTunes (with DRM), but offer the same music on their own as high quality MP3 or FLAC. iTunes is great for getting known, but knowledgeable people go to their site for buying/download (and the publisher don't pay Apple a percentage of the proceeds)

iTunes doesn't DRM their music anymore. It's all DRM-free now and higher quality.

Additionally, Agua de Annique is available in this higher quality DRM-free format on iTunes Canada for $10.99.

Right, but not "Pure Air". And I do not know about "The west pole" on iTunes/Canada once released.
