I heard for the first time the EP City from Above.
If the 2 first tracks have a lesser interest being radio edits (but at least good ones) Miniatures, Pales Traces with Spanish text and the self titled tracks are worth listening!!
I did City from Above in the dark, quite loud and waw!! that is quite something! You need to be 'prepared' because this is a very experimental track, which reminded me instantly of Eyes Wide Shut OST (due to the ghostly vocals). And this is surely a track which needs a very good high end hi fi system in order to get all the low an organ can produce in real life!

Well... i just heard the EP on my way to work and i agree with Alejandro =) the radio edits are good but the regular versions have more of a punch for me. Miniature is such a good track, i just wish Marcela's voice was a little bit more upfront in the final verses cause it gets a little bit lost in the music, apart from that it's a really nice chillout and sit back kind of song. The spanish version of Pale Traces is soooooooo good, althouth the spanish lyrics are a little bit corny hahaha, i think i like this version more, maybe it has to do with the language thing =)

And well... City from above... what a strange track!!! i love it... it is solemn, dark, funebre and wicked!!!... i wish it lasted longer hahaha. There's always these vibes from Frank when the songs are relying on the keyboards that you cant get off from your head, this is haunting yet it is lying low, its zero prententious and just plainly atmospheric.

I wish Miniature and City from above had fit in TWP, the album would've been more mindblowing that it already is!!!
Can't wait for my stuff to arrive :)

haha yeah, i liked the stuff on the ep, although i would have preferred a full blown spanish version of pale traces, not that mixed language stuff. anyways, i freaking loved miniatures!.

Just heard the EP as well.
Miniature is great! I love the pulsating rhythm and the atmosphere. Being a big TwilightZone-fan, I also appreciate the lyrics / its inspiration ;)
Marcela's vocals are quite eerie.

The instrumental track is haunting and somewhat threatening. I love all these different sounds!

I also have to say that I prefer the Spanish version of Pale Traces to the original one.

Burn I took your advise and listened to City from Above in the dark and man.... it is unreal! Miniature is just one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard and City from Above itself is taking me to other dimensions. Or am I exaggerating...? Anyway, does anyone know if the dance project itself has been filmed somehow?

In the old days we used to challenge each other to listen to "Interstellar Overdrive" in the dark.

On a more serious note, if interest in the EP takes off, how about selling it in the (real and virtual) shops?

I think it'd be difficult since it was only print at 2000 copies... and more than half has already been acquired by people pre ordering... I guess with the coming tour, it will sell out at the gigs...

I am not getting City from above!! Miniature has to grow on me I think. The pale trace version is brilliant!

I've heard so much about this!! :-| And I'm so jealous and anxious because I've haven't heard it yet. All the reviews have been somewhat along the lines of, "This is orgasmic!" :surprised: :D

First times i've listened to TWP i've felt right away that there was something missing! Too light, too thin, no dangerous experiments, no smart bricks on the listener's brain...

Our dutch/norwegian/mexican heroes/heroins really deserve a good round of blows with a big stick on their shoulders. :tw: :D :o
WHY on fu*@#d earth they made this EP instead of placing Miniature and City From Above in TWP? Even at the cost of one or two of the weakest tracks?
The spanish version of Pale Traces is a natural bonus track, the radio edits are negligible.
City From Above is the darker twin of No Bird Call. They can't exist one without the other.
Miniature is a gem. One of the best TG songs ever.

I really, really hope they will correct the mistake in the next release of TWP.

Edit: typos
