I am making a kutte vest jacket and I want a patch of the gathering to put on it, but haven't been able to find on ANYWHERE. I know there are sites where you can get custom patches made, but generally they a) only do them in batch so you have to buy a certain amount b) cost a lot more than normal patches, I don't really want to pay more than £2.50-£3 for a patch, although the gathering would be an exception of course!

Also Porcupine Tree are another I want.

found TG patches (Always and Nighttime Birds logo era) in metal stores and unfortunately that was a looooong time ago.

I'm sure there are still left in those stores. but since the massive consumption through internet, these stores ' re destinated to be close one day and that sucks

Also, since the band is less tagged as a metal one, those merchandising are harder to get nowadays. you'll get more chance for Tokyo hotel, Nightouish, Iron Maiden, Guns N'Roses, Korn...

Nevertheless i saw some of TG ones lately in Spain and Andorra la Vella in 2004/2005

as for Porcupine Trees ones, never seen them... but they probably exist.

Unless you have to check on ebay, maybe you can sew it on your own... mmm gloups for the task. Or maybe the band can make new ones (no matter the old era). But by now they are busy with the new stuffs, I wouldn't see Rene or Hans sewing something for us right now... mmm lol ... sorry. no harm... was just kidding.

We don't tend to have metal stores in the UK, although I know there is a rock shop in canterbury somewhere but I haven't been there yet. I have checked ebay a lot and there has been nothing, and google has been next to useless in the way of finding them, but it is at least good to know they exist at least!

I think the only solution is, as you said, getting a custom-made patch, which, as you also mentioned, will cost about £3-5; even here I wouldn't expect to pay less than that.

But hey, thanks for the idea, I've been wanting a Dark Tranquillity (even if I already have the one that came with Fiction) and The Gathering one for quite a while :D .

You could try Camden market in London, quite a few shops selling band patches, I think i had a quick look in a few for a TG one a while back, didnt find anything.

I actually found a cheaper one on the polish version of ebay, and found some other amazing patches too.

I ordered a black sabbath one that looks awesome (most sab ones ive seen have looked rubbish), marduk, cradle of filth (again a decent one) amon amarth,, kreator, immortal, obituary and Nile.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 1839wt_954

its there if anyone was wandering.

My vest is rather eclectic. Pink Floyd, slayer, emperor, mayhem, motorhead, my dying bride, among others.

I have a sgt peppers pin badge now, next to my dimmu borgir one obciously

my first patch is Iron Maiden's seventh son (i found in a store). I asked my mom to sew it on my pocket wallet in 1990!!! lol... my gosh it's really ugly but whatever.. it's only nostalgy. ehe
what's yours? aha

I'm not fond of patches today. prefer stickers. lol mais qu'est ce qu'on est con. yes!

mmmm gloups

i just knew i wanted to make a jacket so I got a lot of patches at once. The first was a mayhem back patch, and a cannibal corpse, death and my dying bride one.
