Hopefully the bands effort turns out for the best. I am about to leave for the Jaxx show, and am greatly looking forward to seeing them.

We made the trip down from Toronto, 10 hours, lets hope things go good the rest of the way cuz we plan on hitting the rest of these east coast shows.

I just returned to my hotel from the show. I've had the biggest smile on my face all night because the show was so beautiful! I talked to a lot of cool people throughout the night too. Right now I'm looking at my ticket which I got signed by Hans and Rene. Everyone who was there should remember this special night for a good long time. For me, it makes the drive to Georgia, then the disappointment in Atlanta, then the long drive back all worth it for this one night. But I've got to get to bed now because it's another long drive to Boston tomorrow. I'm so glad I'm crazy enough to be driving to all of these shows!

My god. The Gathering put on the most stellar performance I've EVER seen in a band. I'm too tired to write anymore but this setlist.

Setlist: (I have one one, but I'll take a pic later.)

1. Liberty Bell
2. Spirits
3. Shortest Day
4. In Between
5. Broken Glass
6. Analog Park
7. Saturnine
8. A Noise Severe
9. Souvenirs
10. Travel
--encores--
11. In Motion I
12. Eleanor
13. Strange Machines
14. B.L.D

I was at the Jaxx show last night and it was awesome! They sounded so incredible and Anneke's voice was mind-blowing. One of the best shows I've seen in a long time!

Do they play the whole BLD? That would be an overwhelming ending to the show!

My first Gathering show, and it was simply amazing. I do believe they played all of BLD though I've heard the original only one or twice. My only complaint is that it was a tad short. But with three openers....yanno. At least the opners were somewhat interesting. Was able to purchase the dvdatthe show and got Anneke, Renee and Marjolein to sign it. They were all so gracious. I love a band that seems genuinely happy to play for an audience, and the Gathering is that band. Oh, my other bitch. No XXL t-shirts. Some of us have beer bellys you know. To Anneke, Rene', Hans, Frank and Marjolein, thank you so much for coming.

Marion

PS: Marjolein's a very sweet lady.

Looking at the setlist, I would expect TG to be an hour and a half. I know it feels short and we'd all love them to play for 4 hours :D But is that about how long they played for?

I think an hour and a half sounds right. Is that their normal show length? But yeah, you're right it felt shorter I'm sure because it was just so damn good.

To the cool people who loaned me their Sharpies, thanks. You guys rock! I brought my 14 year old daughter with me too and she loved the show.

I don't know their "normal" setlist, but for a club show with 2 opening acts, an hour and a half for the headline is typical.

Did they come out after the show and do a meet/greet? I left right after the last song. Thanks.
