I am so ANXIOUS for this show!!! I have been a fan of the Gathering for about 6 years now and this will be the first time I see them live. I have been pumping myself listening to all their cds exclusively for the past 4 weeks. This is probably the most anticipation I have ever felt for a concert!

I don't wanna be a bugger, but does anyone know the set-list? If you don't wanna publish it online, please email it to me.

Although many people don't like Foufounes, I can honestly say its my favorite small (max 900 people?) venue place we have in Montreal. It's easily accessible, there are bars on every floor; however, the only drawback about this place is for the band members since I personally think that the backstage area is small and badly furnished! But its only for a few hours, so I guess that never really is a problem for them.

Saphir is way too small for a show. It can hold a show for a local band but something this size is just way out of the question, me thinks!

Ticket only says 7pm. But is it doors open at 7, or show starts at 7 ??

Anyone know?

I heard the whole "Home" album this morning. Very satisfying album. Can't wait to finally see them live!

UNEXPECT is not bad a band either. The music is completely different from TG, closer to black metal in a sense, although they have a very different approach to their music though. I don't know, they're strange, a melting pot of black/death/goth/folk metal...

It's gonna be fun seeing them too. From what I've heard with GIANT SQUID, it's gonna be interesting also. Very full sound, quite strange doom-ish metal.

Interesting line-up to say the least.

If there is one thing all of these bands have in common, they can't be defined by the usual labels. Definitely get up front and catch all of these bands. They were all very talented musicians as far as I was concerned.

UNEXPECT was really hard to describe and I enjoyed their set and stage presence. I would say they were like a Quebec version of Dexy's Midnight Runners, on crack. :P

If you can't enjoy this show, there must be something wrong with you.

:green:

I just saw the setlist. I like variety!

LOL @ posting tomorrow's weather. I am very happy to see that there are the gathering fans in Montreal as passionate about them as I am!
