On 24th, TG will play in Izmir (which is not listed in Biletix or official TG page),
On 25th TG will play in Ankara.

Would somebody, please, translate (or at least give me a link to a turkish-english online translator) the following text I encountered while trying to check for tickets on Biletix:

Bu etkinliğin İnternet üzerinden yapılan bilet satışları sona ermiştir.

Eğer etkinlik tarihine kısa bir süre kaldıysa bilet satışları Biletix Perakende Satış Noktalarında ve ana gişede devam ediyor olabilir.
Eğer etkinlik tarihine en az iki gün var ise kurye teslimatı sona ermiştir.

now it seems like the gig will definitely be on 23rd November, this is the date that tickets are being sold for. hope there won't be a last minute change

btw, biletix has english version as well:

I've already bought tickets for myself and for Pathfinder. There is nothing to indicate that the concert is not on 23rd on this side...

I've also e-mailed the webmaster (of the offical site), community support and nick@nickpeel.com (international booking agent) the following:

Subject: Istanbul concert date

Hi. I would like to point out that the tour dates for Istanbul, Turkey on the official The Gathering web page and on Biletix (Turkish concert ticket site) do not match. Biletix has already sold tickets for the 23rd. We (Turkish and Greek fans in the official forum) would be very happy if you could tell us if The Gathering will be playing in Istanbul on 23rd or 24th.

PS: Don't worry about reservations and so forth. I'll be more than happy to call each and every hotel/hostel if need be to find a place to stay for as many people as need be. If you also need a Turkish speaking person for train/plane reservation I'll be glad to help any TG fan.

The new dates are as follows:

November 2006

23rd Istanbul / Yeni Melek
24th Izmir / Hayal Kahvesi
25th Ankara / Saklikent

The promoter changed the dates but forgot to inform us.
This can happen with Turkish concert promoters.

Hello can anybody, please, tell me if the tickets for the Istanbul event are already sold out ? Biletix online sell os over. Is there still a way for obtaining a ticket?

Biletix sometimes stops selling tickets online for no apperant reason. It does not necessarily mean that the tickets are sold out. If you are absolutely sure you are going to come I could always buy a ticket for you from a Biletix outlet (pls e-mail me, the forum does not always alert me for new messages.)

You might also want to talk to Pathfinder, he's from Bulgaria as well and I already bought tickets for him. You might want to come to Turkey together.

Hey,it seems I've missed a lot of this trans-Balkan-altrock-cooperation conversation
NavStar - I've just answered to your email ! And to Paul - thank you very much for your efforts and prepare to take your Efes from me
Well,I think the Bulgarian team will try to come as one body But I also will be happy a lot if we can accomodate together with the Greek group,because the hostel rooms have capacity and it will be fun
And one proposal to the mantioned above people from Greece - if somebody would like to take a 1-2 days longer trip,you can take the bus to Sofia,walk around in the city,maybe mountain,sleep at my home and than join our group to go to Istanbul together(Sofia-Istanbul by bus is around 15-20 Euro).
That's all and keep on writing
