I am sorry I missed the karaoke at the festival but at least I got an encore at the bar sunday 8)
It was good meeting you too, not saying much or not.
Did you survive the night at schiphol alright? Find a good chair to get some sleep?

Hey everyone,

Greetings from Helsinki! I just registered to the forum finally to say hello to all of you very nice people who made it over for Ankkarock. I'm the Finn who was at On The Rocks partying with quite a few of you on Sunday, some others I met at the festival on Saturday and some in Helsinki on Friday too. Glad some of you stayed over for the whole weekend and even some extra days too. Thanks for walking with me back to the hotel instead of taking the taxi so I had company at least for part of the trip way home - hope you enjoyed the 4am snack van stuff! :) Really hoping I'll eventually meet some of you again somewhere.

Inventing the TG handshake was just too funny, it was definitely not possible to not crack up whenever it was performed :)

Not much to add about what other people have commented about the concert, it had been as long as 9 years for me since seeing TG last time and this was a wonderful ending to a great era!

PS. if you have good pics from the On The Rocks night, private message me about it please, would be cool to have a couple of picture memories about it.

Sadly we missed the official the gathering' hand shaking, but at least we were at time for the gathering.

Btw, never try to get a taxi in Helsinki, its impossible :P

Ken - I've just been haunted about 8 times! Yikes! We will definitely hang out if you're in the area.

Preacher - Eric gave an encore at the bar? Details please? I think I must have been stumbling around downstairs somewhere at the time :lol:

Aki - it was great hanging around with you, Lukaz and crew after the weekend was over. We will surely meet up if I ever have reason to go to Helsinki again.

Karen - thanks for the comments on my flickr site. It was nice meeting you. Too bad you were in and out so fast. That goes for a lot of people, actually.
