I really don't know what to expect from Silje. There aren't many live vids of OS on youtube. I've seen all there is.

What I do expect is, some fans being disappointed. Seeing someone else up on stage other than Anneke. It's inevitable. The comparisons will be made. Not just the vocals but stage presence. I just hope people are respectful.

Even though I don't know what to expect. I believe, whatever this version of The Gathering is, on stage. They're going to be as incredible as they've always been.

Old songs I hope they play
Analog Park
Probably Built In The Fifties (I think they've played this and Travel all 5 times I've seen them)
Blacklight District
ON MOST SURFACES ( I love this song, never seen them play it!)
Liberty Bell
Waking Hour (Sadly, I never did get to see this live, in person)
Any song from Souvenirs.

If there is ONE song that should see its revival on stage is "Sand & Mercury"

Would be nice, just been playing this on guitar (including piano parts) :green: The vocal line goes up to a high F so she'll need to be able to reach that.

Night Time Birds!!!
The acoustic version should have stayed on Sleepy Buildings
But, if they play it live again... I'll be so happy!

They should play the whole NTB album :green:

But this is with Silje... Silje has a voice with much power and more heavy than anneke, so I think that The Gathering will play a song more heavy...

I like:
Strange Machines, nighttime birds, souvenirs, liberty bell, red is a slow colour, Alone, great ocean road, probably built in the fifties, shot the pieces, analog park, amity, third chance and on most surface!...
Only 13 songs + 5 song from THE WEST POLE

I'm desperate to hear 'Great Ocean Road' live. When did they play it for the last time?

At Santiago, 2007. Too bad it wasn't part of the DVD at the end.

I can't imagine this. However, were there any other songs that didn't make it on the DVD/CD?

Broken Glass, acoustic version.
About Great Ocean Road, well, I love that song too, but I do missed the second guitar on the final part. It seems like it looses power when Rene is doing the solo... anyways, it was a shame it didn't stay on the track list selection :(

Yes, I'm agree. I was disappointed too when I heard that they played it and don't put in the final dvd... that's it. (It's the 1st song I heard from them and the sampler is broken on this track! I remember that I immediately felt in love with this band...)
