How funny ,was also the first song I've heard form the band too , also via a french sampler probably the same ? and then I felt in love etc... :)

- One Most surfaces
- GOR
- New Moon, Different Day
- Saturine
- Broken Glass ( strangely I never liked the way Anneke used to sing it , except the beautiful piano version which I want for my funerals )

It was in Rocksound magazine. Funny that we discovered TG at the same time with this song! :green:

This thread is again gone into some listing...
Actually what I expect of the band is to make a good combination of oldies that fit with the new tunes... And they skip Saturnine, I'll be glad... never thought it was a top song of ITE or of the whole catalogue...
A few surprises or some songs with maybe new arrangements (like they did with Monsters) are welcome.

I beg to differ as for 'Saturnine' and I bet I'm not alone here. This song is an essential part of the band and a real fan favourite. So I can hardly imagine it not being played live again.

So in the interview it is said that Silje is rehearsing On Most Surfaces, great song. I can't even begin to think of any of the old songs sung by Silje, it's just like hearing a cover band or a tribute band. I just hope she won't try to sound like Anneke, because there is only one Anneke. As much as I love Marcela on The West Pole/City from Above I do not really like her singing Gathering songs. I am getting quite nervous as 19 June approaches rapidly, but really want to give the band a break and see them without any prejudice.

I had the great pleasure of being invited to the rehearsal on stage yesterday at Oss, and I just can say that it was awesome !!!!! :D It was great to see the band again, more than ready to rock (thanks for everything, guys, specially Rene). Silje was very kind and really excited for the gig. I was surprised by the way she print her very own feeling on old songs, so, get ready for this new energy the band is bringing.

I won't say which songs are on the set list, but the whole rehearsal was lovely! I got very very excited when I heard the first notes of every song :green: Many of you guys, will be very happy to see some requests will be played :flower:

See you all on Friday!
