OK high time for me to react regarding this show as an old gathereer as i am
first, a real pleasure to meet up again with Snorkel (Michel), Burn, A&A and others + the band of course
good to get to know Faridee, Emelic, the 2 guys from the US at my right
a new era has begun and TG is back, so far the best news for 2009 !!!!
what a feeling, the show has been amazing even if you could notice that everyone from the band was nervous at the beginning quite normal...
so were fans like us since we didn't know what to expect with the new songs and Silje's first gig...
let's simply say "even the spirits are afraid"
the new songs are catchy live, "all you are" is the new hammer
and i'm really fond of "no bird call" esp. the 2nd part
so great to hear again, refreshed older songs like "analog park" so heavy !!!!
"leaves", "great ocean road"
the only doubt i have is against "travel", i like it but TG has been performing it so much, that i would prefer their other long numbers like "sand & mercury" or "BLD" (but i doubt they'll perform BLD that soon)

Good to see and listen, that Silje performs the songs THAT well. Sounds very convincing, more than on the album, where she's a bit held back.
Maybe Anneke brought a bit more positive energy... But hey, this was the very first gig.
Silje did the job, she was pretty convincing and for her first show we can't be too much demanding, we have to cheer her up !!!

The only issue maybe... Not sure if I like the heavy guitar sound a full concert long?!
no, i like that !!!!
i'm happy the guitars are back, it reminds me a lot of the "If_then_else" era
we'll see what will happen with the full tour and their "normal set-list
