Hi all,

Long time no see ...............

I plan to go to Purmerend as well.

Finally another TG gig, and seeing some old friends again.
Just been too long ................

Regards, Michel ( Snorkel )

Hi Faridee,

Yes I know, it's shamefull.
Thanks for the welcome anyway.

I have lost contact with most of the TG fans for a long time.
Too long.
Lots went on in my life, but still here, and ready for a fresh start.

Must admit, have not seen a single gig of the Home tour, and only own a copy of the demo version of the album.
Am not impressed by the Home album at all, was a big disappointment to me.
Hope I'm now not offending anyone, band members and/or fans.
Just my opinion.

Hope this new start will grab me again ....... firmly.
I need way more guitars and atmosphere as Home gave me.

Regards, Michel

Just bought a ticket for the gig in P3 !!!!

Might even go to the gig in Heerlen, but don't fancy a drive down south from Lelystad all by myself, and back up at night.
Now if some would join in ..... !?!?!?
Sleeping in my house is a possibility.
It's only 45 minutes east/north-east of Amsterdam.

Regards, Michel

Good. Purmerend is too far but i'm thinking of going to Heerlen coz it's the nearest place from my home, juste aside the german border, it would be great to meet up there with you again ! :D
later

Hiya Vince, very good to hear from you again indeed !!!

Would indeed be nice if we could catch up a bit of old time good memories !!!!!!
Can't commit just yet to do Heerlen.
Far away from home for me as well, which means long travelling time, especially afterwards and with the next day gig in mind as well.
Can't afford a hotel bill next to other costs.

Hope more are planning/willing on doing the north/center - south ( and back ) trip, then I may be pressed into coming .... happily.

You're more then happy to crash at my place, eventually, if it would come in handy.
That is, if you could be persuaded to do the Purmerend gig as well.
Not possible to share rides in our situation, sadly.

Just hoping more people joining in to make it all happen, and for you to find a way to do the second gig as well !!!!

We're now living 40 km more north, and somewhat closer to Amsterdam, in a bigger house ( purchased in 2006 ), with an integrated garage and living area on the first floor instead of ground level.

Hope you're doing fine.
Curious to learn more about current and past life.
We're sort of still the same.

Now live from the North Sea by Stenaline, on our way to England, to spend some time with my train modelling mates over there and also a couple of days with Astrid in London.

All the best.

Regards, Michel

Hey Michel!

great news, yep, i had read sometime in 2006 that you moved in somewhere else.

thanks for your nice thoughts regarding both concerts, but honestly i can't afford the 2 gigs, my social situation is still the same (no fix job, only temporary and so on...blabla),
on top of that my car is almost 10 years old and has become heavy on petrol, i can't afford a new one right now, so i have no choice to take the long way into consideration... :(

BTW, a big hello to A & A, Purmerend a HOME match for you

Vince

Since we after all are playing our first gigs in almost two years and it will be the first gig with Silje we thought we should do something special for you guys attending the gigs. We are planning to have a lot of fun at these first gigs and they will be very personal and special to us, so we decided we will give away some brand new merch, signed posters and cds, and a little meet&greet where some of you can meet up with the band to have a nice chat and take some pics, and the best of all; we might even film YOU!

All you have to do is to send us an email to contestgathering@gmail.com telling us a shortly why you should be the one and include your full name.

The winners will get announced during the gig. Cheers!
