I went from Zakopane (south of Krakow) to Prague by car in 2003... I was about 6 hours long but it was summer in nice weather conditions... I dont know how long the winter bite will last but at the moment we enjoy a real winter in western Europe!
At that time of years you might get it in the same time but if you happen to drive throught snow.. that could become a nightmare

Thanks for the answer Alex. So I think going to Krakow is not an option anymore. I though it was way closer... and driving in snow, nonono, not a good idea for someonw who has seen snow only a couple of time on his life.

Well you might choose train... I dont know how long you stay in Europe and how much you will use the train, but if you plan several long distance trips crossing border you should check this

There's a connection train from Krakow to Prague though not direct - you'd have to go to Katowice first and then go to Prague. Estimated travel time is 8 hours and 7 minutes. Despite that train isn't a very good option. Poland is struggling with communication problems caused by snow and it might be very difficult to travel.
Also I'm not completely sure if InterRail's Global Pass is valid for the route I gave. Definately it's not valid for a train from Krakow to Katowice. Abbath if you'd like to get more info about that PM me :).

Anyway - I'm gonna be in Krakow on 29.01 :). The ticket is safe in my home and now I'm counting days!

The Videos from this show made me really happy! I was literally smiling at my computer screen watching the videos... I think this is the best concert since Silje joined the band (not that I've seen any in person, but from the videos at least..)...

I was watching the videos and thinking.. holy shit, this is THE GATHERING! It really seemed like a Gathering concert, the same vibe from before...

I liked Silje from the beginning, but she is getting better and better... good job guys, can't wait to see The Gathering live in Latin America :)
