If I were to come to Holland and stay at Amsterdam for a week or so (make a holiday out of it) so as to go to the show on the 18th there, would it be easy to get to Oss and back for the show on the 19th? Would it be easy to go by train? Or would it be really expensive, or would it not run so late? I figure if I'm planning on spending all the money on going over I had may as well see them twice!

You can go by train, the return ticket is approx. 33 Euro, about 16 per ride. You can go to http://www.ns.nl and search for connections. Last connection from Oss to Amsterdam is at 00:44 and you will arrive in Amsterdam at 02:46 after interchanging in Den Bosch. Seems you can see them twice in a row at one weekend then.. ;)

That would be great. Hopefully sort my passport out next time I'm back home then, and save up lots of money to come over :)

Bought my ticket for the gig at P60 in Amsterdam, and want to buy a ticket for the gig on the 19th at the groene engel in Oss, but I don't speak Dutch, and can't see a way of translating the order form into English?

Just write an email to Groene Engel and make a reservation. I did it myself, it works..

i booked my flights and tickets for P60..yeah, Groene Engel still has the same problem, you can't book from abroad i asked a friend to get me a ticket, so i'm ok... :D

x johngebreadman:
it seems that TG will be on stage after 10 pm..i hope for a long setlist, so may be they will end around midnight
then pics, chat ect ect..so in a few words: it's better to book a room/hotel in Oss...it's not so easy going from Oss to Amsterdam by train after midnight, unless you want to wait for a train in DenBosch in the middle of the night..

this is what I was thinking. I know my friend is coming to Amsterdam with me, but doesn't listen to the gathering. Seeing as it's going to be a week holiday I'll convince him we should spend a few days in Amsterdam and a few days in Oss, see more of Holland this way anyway! Thanks for the advice!

yeah, booking in Oss is better..last week the weather was very good in NL ( i was there for WT Elements 8) ).. you'll never know what might happen mid january..
Oss is a small (mmh not so small) country city...near there 's Nijmegen, big old city..more suitable for tourism... :)

of course i will go to see both TG shows.. :D
but..
there's Delain too at Purmerend (near Amsterdam)saturday 19..

I love Delain, but nowhere near as much as TG, would rather see them twice tbh, Delain actually play in England, so will always have another chance to see them again! Submitted my passport application yesterday!

yeah my mum kind of fucked up on the getting a cosignature front (I don't know anyone where I've lived for over two years) so not able to get a passport in time for the gigs. Very pissed off obviously.

The show should be up for viewing at http://www.youtube.com/ziggo sometime in the near future. Once again a good show with a loud bang at the end. :green:
