totally agree on this :green:

I made a quick translation:

So, thats it – the final audio&video document of The Gathering with awesome Anneke on vocals.
Nostalgically the thoughts wander, to superb albums as „Mandylion“ or „How to Measure a Planet“ .... in the last couple of years the dutchies sill dwelled in the top league, but the music had got a hearable change.
So, in this recording you can enjoy both worlds – the metal-biased sounds of the 90ies and the triprocking blueprints of the present:
Fitted with fat sound ( and backed by an enthusicastic southern-american audience ) The Gathering travels 2 hours through their dicography, besides hits like „Liberty Bell“ or „strange Machines“ also providing heavy bearable stuff like the long track „Black Light District“ or the ingenius rocking „Monsters“, wich combines ambitious Music with high recognizability. Hammer!!!!
Neighter the stage-presence nor the setlist are to be complained about – the fact that Anneke just gives some words to the audience and the „operating range“(?) of her co-musicians seems to be zero - can be disregarded in this firework of musical brilliance. Only the video resolution is not reaching todays technical level, but this may due to the recording location (chile).
DVD2 provides a 1-hour documentation, illuminating a bit more the last studio-album „home“ . From creating a new recordingtemple to some moments of desperation of Hans Rutton to listeningsessions this material delivers some interesting insight into the world of these 5 musicians.
Highly recommended!
To continue - the „Making Of" of DVD1: some clear&brief technical aspects and discussions, .
Further added are 3 qualitative different fanvideos of „alone“ a dispensable promoclip of „forgotten“ & two very nice animation videos of „box“ and „waking hour“.

What remains is the awareness that the band as well as charismatic Anneke are setting a wonderful last point to their 12year lasting shared travel, leaving fans and musicians likewise satisfied.

sounds like a nice album. I might actually go pick it up once I get my tax money.
