The Gathering

Haha, my dad heard me listening to them in my room really loud once about a year ago, I believe I was listening to something off of Nighttime Birds, and he just comes into my room like "Who the hell is this?" I told him and he just said "..damn...these guys are good. Thus he borrowed every Gathering album I own (which is all but Almost a Dance) and he simply loved them all, except for HTMAP. I told him to give it a few more listens because its harder to get into..he never did though. Point being, he enjoys them a lot and listens to them on occasion. I burned him his own copies because I simply cannot live without any of them for an extended period of time. he actually wanted to go with me to the show In Cleveland a few months ago..but I thought it would be "uncool" to bring my dad. Silly me.

Most of my friends don't like it,because it's very "soft" for their musical taste,but I don't mind,I am always making them listen to it,at least a little

My mother likes the gathering,she always understands and ask :is that the dutch singer?
My brother doesn't really care but he prefers it from other,more heavy stuff.

Well i turned on one friend to the band recently, i bought my friend a copy of Sleepy Buildings for his birthday and he loved it, he loves the music and Anneke's amazing voice, he even checked out the webcast from a few months ago too.

How could you?! Poor dad... I don't have such perplexities, cause my dad is a cool pal and sometimes he has more fun than me. For example on Page & Plant show. You should have seen him!

My family don t care for the music i listen too so i vote for "don t care".But my sister loves TG!.As for my friends they either love TG or they appreciate them even if its not the kind of music they usually listen.You see all of my friends know about quality music and some of them are music maniacs .People who listen to crap (like Britney etc) or are too narrow minded about music are not my friends.As simple as that

Well, my family don't even know what kind of music I'm listening to, so they don't care.

I have one friend, who loves TG almost as much as me and some of my friend joined me on the Prague gig in March, but most of other people really don´t care about them...thay say "boring and soft"

My friends don't follow me on the way of fanatism but they say too that TG's a good music. Except one girl It was a bad choose to bring "Souvenirs" to Her party where nobody knew it...I dunno how but it succeed to kill the party with that CD How I hoped I could get close to Her with this music

I knew TG through some friends who liked the band very much in 1994... with the anneke arrival they loved TG... many of them wanted to create metal bands with female voices and those things.. and even play some TG songs...

unfortunately because of all that changes, those same guys don't like TG now... even some hate them...


family?... my minor brother (10 years minor than me..) likes the old times too.. and the others... well, they always comment about the anneke beautiful voice...

my girlfriend: she like...but not all songs
my friends: they like TG
my grandmother and grandfather: I didn't make listen to them TG songs

My mother likes so much the band, but my friends LOVE it! I'm studing art and sometimes I carry the CD's in my bag and I put'em in the casette we have in class, and a lot of friends have ask me to borrow'em the CDs. AT least now I can talk about TG with someone in class! (lol) =)

I often give my cd TG to friends & my pupils. their opinions are very pozitiv.and else:my black kat likes music TG.
