Er Remember the gig is seated... So once you have a seat you shouldnt lose it ;)
For the people who attend both shows, I guess they will have to leave the venue in between anyway...

Obvious, otherwise everyone would pay only for the first one and stay there to be at the 2nd one for free, so... :wink:

OK, if there is a bar inside The Paradiso i can live with that and stay inside between the two gigs. But it would still be a cool thing to have a bar/place to go to before and after the shows to meet other TG-fans.
If there isn't any suggestions coming up from some Dutch people, I will find something, I've been in Amsterdam a couple of times.
And I will look around for you. And no, not in a gaybar ;)

Ess, who lives near A'dam, will try to find some nice places.
I will also, from distance, try to find a good place near Paradiso.
As soon as there is a real suggestion, I can make the invitation.

i already post something in the concerts part of this forum, i live 5 minutes from Paradiso.
There are a lot of cafe's/pubs there, it is 1 of the 2 biggest scenes in Amsterdam to spent your evening/night.

I think you can stay after the 2nd show in Paradiso, but maybe if there is a dance event after the 2 shows everyone has to leave, normally they will stay open for 2 hours after the show is done.

If The Gathering plays the same show as last year there are bound to be chairs in the concert hall, so it doesn't matter much to try to get in front of the stage...i am on the guestlist so maybe i am early and occupy the front seats :lol:

But back to the meeting, there are so many places to go to there, it all depends on what kind of music everyone is in too, do you want big cafe's, noisy, dance music cafe's, maybe the Mc. Donalds or Burger King, hehehe...we can also go to the casino, which is next to Paradiso, name it, and i will tell you if it's fun or not.

OK, all good people,
it seems to be complicatated to find a great place that corresponds with TG-fans music profile and with fuckin good music to warm up inside and outside before we go in to the gigs.
But maybe we should make it simple: we could decide to make the hole Leidseplein the official meetingplace for TG-fans and gather there whenever we want; before, during and after the gigs, and even on the days around it (meaning saturday, sunday, monday, tuesday).
I'm sure we can recognise each other as TG-fans and get in touch with another. Don't you? And then everybody will find their soulmates depending on taste when choosing place around Leidseplein.
It could be a big happy party!
Am I making sense?
Or is it just nonsense? :-?

This is an invitation: We'll meet in the Leidseplein, from May 21, seek each other, we drink beers (and what else), we discuss life and have fun, and on May 23 we go to Paradiso and enjoy, and then we see what happens.
Hey, this could be a great party! Something that the A'dams will remember for a long time!! :D

Well, theoreticly there's a good chance: Paradiso gig = 650 seats x 2 = 1300 people. It would be quite impressive if all of them got together in Leidesplein during the hours before the first gig. :o
