At the Paradiso fan meeting there were much less than the 170 that we expected.

And I agree: where the f**k were all the ppl? :evil: Half of the supposed 170 didn't show up! It's a pity, because a lot of other fans would have liked to come, but was too late to register.
Next time: coming = register, not coming = don't register.
Simple, huh? :tw:

Some registrated and couldn't come 'cause of job, trains or stg (eg LOST as I know, he can live :D ) but no excuse for the others :green:

hey it's possible to fall out of time in that state... once I talked about 20 minutes with a friend of mine and during it we listened to U2. There was only a 3 min song played during this whole conversation :o

I too was there. The event was great in all ways but it could have been a bit more organized. Until the tombola-thingie started it was bit unclear what's happening and when.

And also, when there's lots of people who don't know each other beforehand, it is smoother when there's at least one or two "active" persons, who kinda keep the thing going on and can tell people what's coming next and stuff.

Anyhow, the meeting was great (It was great to see so many band's fans in one place :D), and I really do appreciate those who are willing to organize these meetings and sacrifice their (free) time for common good. And of course respects also to the band, for giving those prizes and supporting this kind of meetings.

The first moment I felt hey I'm on the right place when I looked around during the BLD video and a lot of people were doing some kinda air-instruments like me :D It was so...heart-warming :green: (mirror translation of a Hungarian expression, hope it exists :-| :green: )
When in the beginning the bass tom beats came from very other directions of the room hitting, stepping in the same time - then I thought I arrived home :green:

"Home sweet home" could be eg Tom and Jerry - that episode when Jerry goes to the city and in the end runs home...Remember? :wink:

Well, actually I think i goes way back before those crazy Disney animals, you can see the expression hangin' on almost every wall in american homes. It wouldn't surprise me if it originates from some really old western movie, with a very young and innocent (?) John Wayne or someone. :wink:
