I'm glad to see that I'm not the only person in my age category: 54 and proud of it! (Well, to look at it another way, what the f**k can I do about getting old?)

Well, good old ppl, we could start a Grey Panter Club here
I just became 50, and I am also proud of it. And still 19 inside (you know what I mean  )
And about memories: I saw live: Bob Marley, Paul McCartney & Wings, Frank Zappa (he fucked my ears up, standig too close to the speakers), Jimi Hendrix and lots of others. I am talking about the 70's, man!!!
We should really meet! Why don't you come to A'dam April 27? :green:

That would be fun, but I don't know whether it's possible. I didn't get to many gigs in the old days, but I've known two people who got to see Hendrix at the Isle of Wight. The first was a girl I knew at the time, and the second is the guy who now delivers the milk to our front doorstep each day! (I had to spell that out, because I think it's probably a unique British tradition.) He tells me that if you watch the film made about the Isle of Wight festival (possibly a D. A. Pennebaker film, but I'm not sure), you can see him going down a mudslide!

People I did get to see: folk group Pentangle, sort of folk group Fairport Convention, Donovan (who was wearing a long white embroidered kaftan that day!), Elton John when he still had his own natural hair and - best of all - Breton folk musician Alan Stivell, with his 1970s electric band. I was heavily into folk at the time - especially after Hendrix died.
