Hello to you all! My name is Nicki and I am 21 years old. Well, I grew up in a strange small town in Western Greece, but the last four years I live in Thessaloniki (Northern Greece) where I study Applied Informatics (I'll graduate in a few months).
I don't have any particular hobbies, nor any favourite bands (apart from TG and Anathema). In general I like music, I sing (stricktly to myself-too shy), I write lyrics and stuff like that (but never show it to anyone) and watch an awful lot of films. I am a rather melancholic person but luckily two years ago I met somebody who makes me think life is precious..His name is Sotiris which in greek means Saviour.

greece eh? i like greece, for the history and their airforce. went to crete in 91 and loved it. i like the old greek plane called an IKARUS, i think it was develpoed from the Polish PZL P-24 which was made from the P-7/11 series. but i know of an IKARUS IL-2 so ive got some research to do. tell me... are their any good greek gothic or alternative bands or any good song writers today doing good music? rock on, junipergoth...

u mean with greek lyrics or english?
well with greek,the best bands for me are diafana krina(melancholic rock,imagine something like nick cave maybe,and GREAT lyrics) and ksilina spathia(rock in general,many evolutions on every album).
i also recomend interstellar overdrive,they sing in english,their second album surface B is AMAZING,i think the genre is called post-rock or something.

wel... i guess greek bands with greek lyrics. the 1st 2 you said, are they with greek lyrics? id like a band(s) with metal music, girl/male vocals, useful lyrics and which are good at what they do. i just love the gathering, lacuna coil, evenfall etc and also norwegian gaate. they sing in norwegian and are stunning. i love all music though and for me it crosses cultural and language boundaries. i cant say ive ever heard of a greek band before so it should be interesting...
