wow nice you appeared! It's not the "same" thing called The Gathering(musically I mean) what you started with those folks but let me know you: it made a lot of friends with time and based on the first periods too :wink:

@ken1: A sceptic, huh? No problem, but you can take my word that I´m the "real deal"; the Bart Smits Impersonation Contests stopped a few years back because of a lack in media attention... :wink:

@Daeron: You´re welcome! It´s because of the re-re-release of the old material (ie Downfall) that I stumbled upon this forum. And seeing that some people still regard "Always..." as one of their favourite albums, I thought it might be interesting if I stuck around for a while...

@Daeron: The vocals on the pre-"Almost a dance" recordings are "normal" from a metal point of view (ie. without grunt). So "normal" is relative to what you consider it to be... in this case I think the label gothic may apply.

@Burn: Thanx! When you´ve given Lindane a chance let me know what you think of it, ok? It may be quite a lot different from TG but musical horizons are there to be explored, right?

My name is Giannina, an italian name (my grandfather was italian) and the short way to say Giannina is Gianna, I know that in Greece is a name too, but in my case is italian, 'cause my grandfather, that's all
