Shrink, ik bestel er ook vast twee... onder voorbehoud... ondertussen probeer ik speciale oordoppen te ontwikkelen die alleen de stem van Niels eruit filteren... :P

In October The Gathering exists for 15 years. They will celebrate thing with some special activities!

This autumn (November) The Gathering will tour through Europe as second leg of the Sleepy Buildings tour. And a dutch clubtour in October. Besides well known highlights also some new songs of the next album, to be released in 2005, will be a part of the setlist!

* Special audiovisual shows: 15 Oct 2004 Mezz (Breda, NL) and 16 Oct 2004 Groene Engel (Oss, NL)

The band will be supported by projections of movies, made by several national and international talented people. Special The Gathering sons are selected for this purpose. A promising dutch VJ will present this, together with his/her own artistic material and live projections. Promising dutcg talented people can join this project. If you're interested, please visit the website of http://www.parnassusonstage.nl/ for more details (deadline Oct 1st). At the gig in Oss, the winning movie will be announced. This movie will be put on the DVD of The Gathering which will be released worldwide next year!


* Special action in some CD-stores

Everybody who buys the albums "Souvenirs" or "Sleepy Buildings" during September at some selected stores wil receive a special 'tour T-shirt'. And (s)he makes chance to win 2 free concert tickets (which has a value of €30) and 2 backstage passes including meet & greet with The Gathering! Have a look at http://www.gathering.nl soon (end of august) to see which cd-stores are a part of this action.

* War Child

De Groene Engel in Oss and The Gathering are both celebrating their jubilee. ‘Parnassus on Stage’ rockproductions created a special project titled ‘Gathering of Roots’. Via this project The Gathering can support new creative talents during the upcoming tour and lets them presenting their work to the public. A special War Child action is set up too. War Child helps childs which are victims of a wars. There will be a special exposition of photos and an auction afterwards, titled: ‘Help The Gathering War Child Helpen’. The photos are made by well known and awarded photographer Peter Blok. Already for many years he made pictures of the band. His best and most beautiful photos will be shown at all the dutch gigs. After the tour all photos will be framed, and signed by The Gathering. Via an internet-auction these items will be sold to TG-fans. All money will go to War Child.

Sjeeeeeez hehehe.. dat is echt super... en die speciale shows zijn natuurlijk weer in brabant ;P Lekker handig als je d'r voor uit Groningen moet komen.. Ik zal wel ff een vriendin polsen in Tilboland of die te porren is... :P Denk het haast wel...
