Nou, ik vind ook niet alle nummers mooi hoor! My electricity vind ik bijvoorbeeld irritant. Travel daarentegen, ben ik na jullie lof over dat nummer, toch nog vaker gaan luisteren. Nu vind ik het toch best mooi! En jawel, ik kreeg kippevel ...

Okee, niet alle nummers mooi vinden is 1 ding, maar om het dan gelijk bagger te noemen...

Mijn top:

1. Mandylion --> gewoon zoo mooi :D
2. Nighttime Birds --> net Mandylion maar net niet :P
3. If_then_else --> Perfecter maar ik krijg er geen kippenvel van als bij de bovenste 2
4. How to Measure a Planet? --> Eigenlijk net al If_then_else maar had ook op 1 cd gekunt vind ik :-?
5. Souvenirs --> tja... wel mooi maar ik luister hem toch veel minder dan de rest

De vroegere albums heb ik (nog) niet... dus daar kan ik geen oordeel over geven.

Souvenirs moet je leren waarderen. Bij de eerste luisterbeurt was ik een beetje teleurgesteld, maar na een keer of 3 luisteren was ik er helemaal happy mee!!! :P

ik kan niet kiezen tussen Souvenirs + HTMAP, zijn beide zo briljant gemaakt en toch weer zo verschillend van elkaar. Ik hou ontzettend van opbouwende nummers en van dat psychologische gedoe (vooral doelend op HTMAP) en ook de varieteit tussen de nummers. En Souvenirs is meer trendy, kan je lekker op dansen (tenminste ik + maris wel), ogen dicht en lekker wegzwijmelen, ach, de nummers zitten gewoon goed in elkaar.
if_then_else is wel goed, maar niet spetterend goed. Zoals eerste twee nummers vind ik niet denderend. Maar Rearview mirror, Analog Park, Saturnine zijn daarentegen weer briljant.
Mandylion en Nighttime birds ben ik op "uitgeluisterd". Heel af en toe luister ik er weer naar, maar dan heb ik het weer voor een hele jaar gehoord.
