Hoewel ik besef dat ik redelijk ben bevooroordeeld inzake TG, vind ik toch de teksten van Bart juweeltjes. Je moet ook niet vergeten dat TG toen bestond uit een stel hele jonge mensen van tussen de 16/17 en 21.

Wat vind je van dit:

Of dit:
In everyone hides a king for a day
Nature's actors, in tragedies we play
But deep bows the head that bears the crown
For the weight of might can always pull us down

Of dit:
To see the colors that rest within your mind

Who's to blame, who will lose
Now the dice have been rolled
We must find the guilty ones
Instead of condemning what has been done

Maar dit is ook heel erg mooi:

my dear, don't leave me now
close at the edge of my end
all this time you have been my friend
don't go, stay for a while

my dear, you're losing me now
this will be my last hour
hear my voice, see my face
see how sick i am
how i long for your embrace

Ik krijg daar kippenvel van.

Er zal vast eerder een thread als deze zijn geweest, maar nog een keer kan toch geen kwaad hoop ik?

Deze is inderdaad redelijk briljant voor broekies van 16/17
ik ben namelijk ook een broekie van 16

dit blijft inderdaad een van de beste teksten die ik van TG ken 8)

Voor mij blijft You Learn About It toch de topper.

'We just give it a sigh', we laten ons niet kisten, prachtig statement. Ook een tekst waar ik persoonlijk best wel steun in gevonden heb.

Ik vind de lyrics van BLD altijd nogal abstract. Ik weet niet wat ik me erbij voor moet stellen. Bovendien vat ik de link tussen de twee "gedeeltes" niet echt.
