In memory of Henk Rutten

Dear people,

Last Sunday morning Henk Rutten, the father of Hans and René, passed away totally unexpectedly.

We are all in shock.
When Henk was preparing dinner in our recording studio, he started having severe abdominal pain caused by a torn aorta.
Henk was rushed to the hospital for surgery, but unfortunately this couldn't save him.

Henk was always very near to the band.
In the early years he was the Gathering's manager, driver and accountant.
Later on he would always closely follow our moves and continue being our 'Gathering-Dad'.

We thank him for all the love and support and we will miss him dearly.

Ik wil jullie, maar ook de familie en The Gathering leden ontzettend veel sterkte wensen met dit enorme verlies.
