Zunic if you think that globalization is a neo-communism then yes, neoliberalism is neocommunism. But it is coming from Usa, then you are a communist too.

Unfortunately neoliberalism has only to do with antisocial policies and encourage to the rich people.

So you have searched information about pasok. Good. It means Greek socialistic Party. But as i wrote before socialistic is only at the name. Its policy has only to do with right.

And i don't think that our new goverment is center based, even with the standars of Usa. That makes me laugh. It's policies are cruel for the single people. I have written above that our right is "righter" than yours.

Historically speaking, socialist ideas have imposed the harshes treatment upon their populations. Where socialist would like to see government control of industry (and the people) the right winger conservatives would like virtually no governement control over any aspect of life. These socialists are firmly planted well within the left wing with their government intervention policies. Most moderate-conservatives in America support gay marriage or abortion, mostly progressive ideas, not government control of certain sectors of industry and life etc...

Hey bud, Tavlaras claimed the Socialist party as the centrist. I couldn't care about Greece's politics personally. The fact that a socialist party (no matter how much you try to downplay it) is a prominent factor in your country's politics is a pretty clear indication to me of why Greece has been in political shambles for the better portion of 2 centuries.

I'm off to work now. To be continued....

We are not trying to downplay it. They are downplaying thmeselves with their unpopular policies. Me and pantelis wrote that they are cetrer-right now, like all the socialistic parties in europe.

Burn: Where I am from (originally) is not your business, but I have lived in many parts of Europe, and have traveled abroad for extended periods of time (for my education and business). All I need is for you or one of your little buddies to attack me or my home country on some issue, to distract from the real issues within our discussions. That's all you need to know and you can keep yawning until your hair falls out. We can care less, since you add nothing constructive to anything here. If you don't care to comment, then please sit there and pretend you can actually moderate something. If you want to tell me something, then go ahead and practice what you preach by sending me a private message. Would love to hear your thoughts.

:P

Tavlaras: I have respect for you and you seem to be pretty fair minded when it comes to certain things. Then again, I could be wrong.

I am not from Great Britain, but I have traveled there many times. I have spoken English for some time now, since it is almost required to be successful when it comes to business and/or the world market. It's not just the Welsh that are hard to understand, but much of the country. Sometimes I do wonder if they are actually speaking English there at all. A lot of people just say they have become too lazy to speak their own language correctly, but you have to watch all of the slang and mumbling, as well. I'm still trying to learn.

:)

All the more reason to learn. Some interesting perspectives.

"Pantelis": I hate to break this news flash to you, but McCarthy was spot on when it came to Communists within the USA. Right before or just after the Soviet Union collapsed, many of their KGB (and other Soviet intelligence) files came over to the USA, along with many defectors within the Soviet intelligence community. After reviewing the documents and interviewing these people, McCarthy's claims were very close to being proven 100% accurate. Some people just don't want those little tidbits of information leaking out among the mass media. I bet you can guess what kinds of people we are speaking about.

"Tavlaras:" It's fine to have an opinion of the quality of whatever party is within your country, but I wouldn't go as far to compare to the party of another country (like within the USA), with similar taglines put upon it. Parties within the USA have a much "bigger tent" (as compared to European parties) for the many viewpoints expressed under one similar banner.

"Tavlaras": The USA has a small band of officially recognised Communists and they had a passionate endorsement of John Kerry for president. Big surprise, right?

not at all. in a country like mine and usa where there are two major parties only, some leftish support the less right. Same in my country where a lot of people supported pasok because the other party reminds them the dictatorship. I am against those who think in that way

Therefore in Iraq the americans have a great help from the communistic party of Iraq. Search for it.

Yes I agree with you and was just being sarcastic in that last statement, since Kerry was the closest thing to being a Communist and supported the Communists in Vietnam, after he came back from the war.
