:flower:

No the drawing isn't someone from Mythology, it's just my imagination.

redgirl! this is pretty good!

I think that some shadows or highlighting would give it some more depth in her eyes.

This is just an opinion, I am sure that I could never in a million years do something like this! :D :flower:

congratulations!

Many thanks!!!

I can't agree with you enough! And you are the first one to express it.
actually, I shew this painting to my teachers and peopke in my circle and they didn't notice this light detail on the face. The blurry effect in the girl looking was made on purpose.
To be honest and today, I don't like this painting very much... for this lack of depth you noticed.
but it was a very hard and great exercise to me.. I had a lot of fun!! especially to paint the skin of the lady. It consisted in different mixture of colour and you have to well balanced the quantity.

It is only my third painting and I still have so much to learn about.

I have more fun with oil painting, much better than acrylic painting because this last one goes dry too fast. The drawback about oil painting is sometimes you got to wait three days to make it dry and then painting again to reach another step.

currently, I'm working hard on a new one ... learning the light painting technic called "Clair Obscur" in french. I will probably post it.

well, thanks again for your opinion! Much appreciated.

oh claire obscure (Chiaroscuro)is one of my all time favorites technics! all those lights and shades can give a special perspective in a drawing.
keep on drawing (and sharing with us ) Hoang :flower:

I thing that drawing (and music ofcourse) is one of the best ways for someone to express himself (in a completely creative way)

OK i'll do my best to show you my Chiaroscuro work when i finish it ehe
dunno when i finish.

otherwise and for sure drawing is both very expressive and relaxing.

[off topic] this is an old story : all started when i was 5.... got to wait for our mom with my sister after school, we had to stay there, as we were not allowed to go back to our home.
My sis always gave me her pencils and a sheet of paper not to get bored...
So i almost drew everyday... and never stopped lovin it

this is so sweet :flower:

Drawing is a natural mode of communication that children can not resist and offers a way to express feelings and thoughts :D
Drawing is one of my primary therapeutic tools specially with children(because it is less threatening than strictly verbal means)
All those painful experiences or unspoken fears can be externalized on a sheet of paper just with a few pencils!
