It's a shame that the Shelby concept you speak of will most likely not be made (at least for now), but here's a few pictures of the lastest inception of the Shelby Cobra, with a couple with Mr. Shelby himself. I hear it's going to run around $90,000 (69,000 EUR). Really unbelievable for this much performance, stock.

Check it out here: http://www.stangnet.com/2005shelbycobraconcept/

The latest Shelby reminds me of the BMW Z8. Is there a resemblance to anyone else? The Ford looks better, regardless.

Now this collaboration was amazing, headed up by Chrysler design chief, Trevor Creed. As far as I have heard, they say this will be built for private consumers, and soon.

Did we miss Hans or is Tavlaras speaking for him? This vehicle would be best suited for driving conditions and space limitations within Holland. :D

If you are talking about the Chrysler, it is not at all ugly, and is a collaboration between the German, Brit and American minds. I don't think it is going to take off with a mainstream nameplate like that (especially for $450,000), but if they market it as the multi-national collaboration for which it is, it might take off in the exotic field. It is not just a concept and it will be built for consumers.

Powered by a 6.1 liter HEMI engine? Sounds nice to me. I think they are going to change the name of the "Firepower," due to copyright name rights, since somebody else already bought the rights. I wonder if they are actually going to build this car for full production, since sales of the "Crossfire" have been a little sluggish.

This had to be the handy work of one hardcore, no holds barred, crazy son of a bitch. Or he/she has some severe judgment issues.

Yeah, and it couldn't hurt for me to drive 1 mile down the road and look at 30 of these C6 models up close and personal either (and maybe eventually Z06).

Nevertheless, creating a new topic dedicated to tabloid pictures is considerably better use of time, and certainly cannot be classified as "stupid" :)
