Hey, i'd really love to go to Amsterdam to see TG... but the flight from Chile costs over 2,000 dollars !!!. I would like to know how far is Madrid from Amsterdam, cause the ticket to Madrid costs 1,050 dollars...
Can anyone help me find a solution to my problem ??!!

I'd avdice you to travel via Paris if the plane ticket is not too expensive... The train from Paris to A'dam is fast and if you pay your trian ticket NOW you will get it for cheap. If you wait 1 or 2 weeks you will have more chance to pay the full train fare...

The plain ticket from Thessaloniki (GR) to Brussels (BE) is less than €200! (I guess Brussels from Amsterdam does not differ much)

you could check on easyjet.com if they fly from barcelona to amsterdam.

Well, i believe there are flights on easyjet quite cheap and you could get a round flight Madrid-Geneva for 80-120 Euros, and Geneva-Amsterdam for 35-70 Euros, so... let´s see if you flew to Madrid for $1000 USD and you bought flight tickets for Amsterdam (with those 2 connections) between 120-200 Euro which is around 100-160 USD you could get there spending at most $200 USD which is cheaper than a $2000 USD for a direct flight to Amsterdam, consider this option, unless trains are cheaper, which i dont know ... and plus, you oughta have extra days in case your flights dont connect so smoothly, hope it is of any help

eurolines has buses all over europe too, theyre quite cheap as well, but obviously it takes a lot longer than planes. and i mean, A LOT.

about one hour and a few minutes

wel compare Paris- A'dam by
plane: 1h but count all the check in time transport to airport and getting your lug in A'dam airport
train: 4-5h
bus: as far I as can remember it was around 8-9 hours...

paris amsterdam should be about 10 hours. depends on your luck as well, could be twice as long or twice as short.
