by my side, there are hesitations about going to see The Last King of Scotland by Kevin Macdonald... it must be amazing. was recommended... also Forest Withaker must be really good and convincing.

300 is awesome movie. I saw it yesterday in IMAX theatre with huge screen and 40 speakers, more than 10 000 watts sound system. WOW! That was fantastic experience.

a psycho drama ... very obsessing i may say.
what make it so thrilling is the great played performance... realistic.
wasnt really difficult for Isabelle Huppert to do so but i have to say Jeremie and Yannick Rénier brothers are also very good actors.

i also noticed the ending instrumental played with violin... the way the strings sounds to end the movie grips... brrrr... lol

well... very nice!

The Lookout

Very good movie. Saw it at the theater this afternoon.

8.5 out of 10

****************************************************

An admired high school hockey player (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) with a bright future foolishly takes a drive in the night with his girl friend and two other friends with his headlights off with devastating results. The former athlete is left with a brain injury that prevents him from remembering many things for extended periods of time. To compensate, he keeps notes in a small notebook to aid him in remembering what he is to do. He also lives with a blind friend (Jeff Daniels) who aids him. Obviously, with the mental incapacitation, he is unable to have meaningful work. Thus he works as a night cleaning man in a bank. It is there he comes under the scrutiny of a gang planning to rob the bank.

Grindhouse

I've been going to the movies since the early 1970's, and I must say that I've never had a better time at a movie. Grindhouse is total cult 70's classic film making. Some of the funniest shit ever created. I will be seeing this in theaters at least a couple more times. Eli Roth almost stoled the show with his "Thanksgiving" preview!

10 out of 10

Hell yeh, the trailers from Grindhouse are on you tube!

Watch em before they are deleted!

Too bad Machette is not on there. That one is supposed to be made into a real film.

Very, very good movie.
From the director of trainspotting and 28 days later.
This is definitely one of the best Sci-Fi movies I've ever seen, and it really has to be seen on the big screen. Don't wait for the DVD!

I saw El laberinto del Fauno a few days ago and I can't recommend enough this movie, though everyone interested has probably seen it by now. I'm in the process of collecting Sergi Lopez filmography after his powerful performance. I hope it will bring me some relief from the incoming avalanche of superhero caribbean blockbuster crap
