Well, the first time I joint to this MB about 5-6 years ago, I was kinda new into the internet stuff (Chosing nicks and all that kind of things) and when i registed, i had no idea of what nick i shoud choose, so the first thing besides the PC was a Cd from Immortal (Battles in the north) so I choose the nickname Abbath (Who was the singer in that band)That easy. Btw, this is the only place where i use this nickname.

some years ago I was here by the name of Layne_Staley but after some weeks I forgot my password and the e-mail adress was not valid anymore...

So when I came back I used just Layne...

Layne Staley was the singer of Alice in Chains who died in 2002 and he did influence me as a singer so much and I think that his voice was so unique that I'd like to bring the band to some people that don't know him before....

Well Daeron was a bard in the Elven Kingdoms in Beleriand, he was the biggest musician that was ever born from the people of the Elves. He lived in Doriath in the kingdom of Elve Singollo (also called Thingol, sinda word "Thingol" = "Singollo" in quenya) and loved the daughter of the King, Luthien. The same story by her but with beauty (so this girl was the most beautiful creature that was ever seen on the face of Middle-Earth - a good choice ) Daeron always played her and Luthien danced on the Grass of Doriath. And everyone was happy.
But then everything went wrong and those idyllic moments were lost forever. Luthien fell in love with Beren, a hero of the Edans (so's called the humans that are the friends of the Elves) and they did dangerous and glorious things. Stealing a Silmaril, hunting some Wa-wa-wa-wa-wolves etc. Read Quentha Sylmarillion. Great book.
And Daeron?... After the girl was gone from the Forests of Doriath forevermore he left it too. From this part his fate is unknown but rhymes of the Elves say he went to the Eastern seashores of Middle-Earth. There he lived for ages, crying and singing the waves the story of Luthien, the beautiful who is lost forevermore.

Yes REALLY Burn , it´s an arabic name (no im not an arab), and the right name for that Mecano´s song (which was an 80´s spanish pop band) is "Hijo de la Luna"... which means "Son of the Moon"... useless facts nobody cares about i know

i thought your name was coming from the tv serie Lost, but this is a music forum so Paradise Lost is more possible.
