Ah yes, but I've discovered by reading a CNN article that he was actually Canadian, and could do several accents.

How many of the original crew are left now? I get a little tired of seeing William Shatner doing TV ads for something or other - a breakfast cereal?

Really not many left, give it another ten years for Nimoy and Shats, but i'm sure Uhura and George Takei will be around a while yet.
