I saw it about 2 wks. ago (living in the U.S. rules sometimes)...personally I thought it was good, but not great. It just didn't grab me as being extraordinary or anything like that.

I love the way tim burton makes it gloomy, but also fun and morbid and so pretty and with great stories at the same time. I practically forced the two girls i share a flat with to come with me and see Corpse Bride on the premier.

I must say, I like Tim Burton's imagination. But this film looks a little too much like Nightmare Before Christmas and reminds me a little too much of Edward Scissorhands. All great movies, no doubt. And all different too. But he seriously needs to think about not having a creepy set for every movie. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory looks good though.

Well I kinda disagree with you Silverbelle. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a very nice movie but I don't think it has the depth of the 'gloo'my movies Burton has done...
I mean let's face it, Planet of Apes was shite, Big Fish is like Burton returning to where he belongs but ain't fantastic either Charlie... is great indeed but I still find that Burton can shoot better when darker...
